Join is a Kanban project management tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Join, you agree to the practices described here. Last updated: March 2, 2026.
Information We Collect
Information you provide: name, email address, and password when you register, plus any tasks, contacts, and project data you create in the app. Guest mode may store a temporary user label.
Information stored on your device: we use cookies and browser storage (sessionStorage/localStorage) to keep you logged in and maintain your session.
How We Use Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, save and display your tasks and contacts, maintain session state, and provide core app functionality. We do not sell your personal data.
Where Data Is Stored
Join stores app data in a Firebase Realtime Database (Google Firebase) to enable persistence across sessions and devices.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (such as Firebase hosting and database services). We do not share your data with third parties for marketing.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
Your data is kept as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time.
Your Choices
You may access, update, or delete your information by contacting us. You can also clear cookies and browser storage to remove local session data.
Children's Privacy
Join is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
